The Leibniz School of Business (Leibniz-Fachhochschule) is a private University of Applied Sciences which offers Bachelor and Master degree studies in business, health management and computer sciences. Formerly known as the Leibniz Academy, it dates back to 1920 and in its past featured seminars with prominent researchers and artists such as Albert Einstein, Thomas Mann and Gerhart Hauptmann.
Today, the Leibniz School of Business is the leading private University of Applied Sciences in integrated degree studies for the regional economy, with about 600 students from more than 100 partner companies. In 2019, two new Bachelor degree programs are scheduled to commence: Business Economics (B.Sc.) and IT-Security (B.Sc.).
